Individual Therapy in Kettering, Ohio Available Virtually
You’re struggling to get along with those you love and maybe even struggle with how you feel about yourself.
You struggle to communicate in an effective way and might struggle to trust that others even care about what you have to say.
You’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of life, not to mention what’s happening globally.
You’ve been feeling down, have no energy or desire to hang out with friends or family, and self care is starting to reduce down to naps and junk food.
Does this sound familiar?
You do not have to go through this alone..
How I can help
When I work with individuals I often find two therapeutic approaches to be helpful. First I will introduce you to cognitive behavioral therapy where I support you in recognizing you unhealthy thought patterns, where they come from, and how to challenge them.
Next I help you to clarify your personal values to help you make choices that you will feel confident in and happy about, even in hard situations. We’ll also explore relationship dynamics and work on communication with those around you to help you better express your wants and needs in a way that will be well received.
Individual Therapy can help you…
Feel more confident about yourself and your decisions.
Gain insight into why you may behave the way you do in different situations or with different people.
Communicate with those around you in a more effective way.
Learn skills to manage through symptoms of anxiety and/or depression.

FAQs about Individual Therapy

Individual therapy does not have to be for those that are in crisis. Therapy is a safe and confidential space to learn about yourself, gain new skills, and create the change you want in your life.
